PUMPKIN UPDATE This year, again, we supported our church and our youth by selling pumpkins. Sale of pumpkins began on October 16th, 2007.
Pumpkins came directly from a Navajo Indian reservation. The Navajo Indians carefully grew the pumpkins as a main source of support. A portion of the proceeds goes back to the Indian reservation as a part of their livelihood. The church and youth group also received a portion of the proceeds to assist with church programs and mission trips.
Thanks to everyone who purchased and sold pumpkins this year. We have raised $3,900 to date towards these great causes!
We continue to sell gourds during the morning hours in between services. Please help continue to raise funds and help us reach our goal of over $4,000.00 Gourds can be used as decorative pieces during the season of Thanksgiving and may also be used for crafts and rattles. |
